Board Members

Nicole Whitesell, President.  Nicole is the owner of Shop Adorn.  She is now serving as President.  She has a BS in International Business and built homes as a general contractor before opening Shop Adorn.  Nicole has a husband, two young children and a dog. She believes that we can do more as a community than on our own, which is why she chose to be an active part of the BBA.
Dan K. Johnson, Past President.  Dan is the Owner and Financial Advisor with Strategic Business Solutions.  He is the earlier Editor and Treasurer for the Beaumont-Wilshire Neighborhood Association and an active community member.  With a BS in Accounting as well as an MBA, education, training and development are the key components of his leadership style. Dan has lived in the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood for many years with his partner and two dogs.
Cathi Woodruff, Vice President Third generation Oregonian, my grandparents came out on the wagon train! Proud graduate of UofO, retail management at Meier and Frank until joining Windermere Real Estate in 2002. Live in Beaumont with my cat Lucy and my dog Sofie.
Nathan McCartney, TreasurerNathan is a Senior Relationship Banker with Union Bank.  He has a BS in Business Administration and Economics from Southern Oregon University. Nathan’s kind disposition and extensive knowledge of accounting and finance makes him a wonderful addition to the BBA board.  Nathan lives in Vancouver with his wife Sharon, son Lucas and energetic terrier Pedro.
Dan LaGrande, Board Member.   My wife and I have lived in the neighborhood for 30+ years. Our children attended the local schools – Alameda, Beaumont and Grant. Our son, Andre, owns YoChoice Yogurt on Fremont. I am recently retired after a career that included working as a reporter for KGW-TV, a communications manager with the Providence Health System, and owner of a marketing consulting business.
Hannah Hurley, Board Member.  Hannah has lived in the Beaumont neighborhood for over 18 years, and has worked at The Arrangement for almost five years.  Hannah is currently the BBA’s secretary, and being on the board has given her a greater appreciation for the business owners on Fremont.  As Hannah says, “It’s been exciting to see the street develop, and I’m excited to be a part of supporting these great businesses”.
